Serving the Muslim community of Surrey since 1992

The Surrey Muslim Centre was founded by a group of dedicated British-Bangladeshi elders with the vision to create a permanent place of worship and community in North West Surrey.
In 1992, the Surrey Islamic Trust was established with the goal of creating a dedicated prayer facility. Early congregations met in local community centres before acquiring a permanent home in Addlestone.
By the grace of Allah, the community grew rapidly. In 2008, the congregation moved into a converted church on Albert Road, forming what is now known as the Surrey Muslim Centre (SMC).
Over the years, SMC has expanded to include modern facilities such as a dedicated Ghusl area, education rooms, and community spaces. The centre continues to thrive as a hub for prayer, learning, and unity for Muslims across Surrey.
SMC strives to nurture spiritual growth, education, and community welfare through daily prayers, Quranic classes, and events that bring people together in unity and understanding.
Since its inception, Surrey Muslim Centre has been a cornerstone for the local Muslim community, offering a place for worship, education, and social gatherings.
The centre has hosted numerous events and initiatives aimed at fostering interfaith dialogue and community cohesion.
Looking forward, SMC remains committed to expanding its services and outreach to support the diverse needs of Surrey's Muslim population.
